Privacy and Cookie Policy
This page explains how the platform uses account data, essential storage, privacy-friendly analytics, optional third-party analytics, advertising technology and media players.
Information we process
We may process account details you submit, favourites, station interactions, technical diagnostics and security logs required to operate the service.
Streaming providers
Radio and television streams may be delivered directly by broadcasters or through authorised external players. Those providers may receive standard connection information such as your IP address and browser details.
Analytics
Stream254 can record first-party activity such as page views, anonymous sessions, station play actions, shares, app-install events, device category and referring domain. For media played directly inside Stream254, the platform may also record verified listening or viewing time, playback completion, skips, buffering time, the selected track or station, and an approximate country code. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the Stream254 analytics database.
Guest listeners are represented by a random browser identifier that is hashed on the server. Country detection prefers privacy-conscious infrastructure headers or a server GeoIP extension; when an administrator configures an external GeoIP service, the visitor IP may be sent to that provider solely to resolve a country code.
Optional third-party analytics includes Google Analytics and administrator-supplied analytics code. In Basic consent mode, Google Analytics loads only after you accept optional analytics. In Advanced consent mode, Google may receive consent-aware cookieless measurement signals while analytics storage remains denied until you consent. Other custom providers load only after consent and may process data under their own privacy terms.
Advertising and cookies
Advertising widgets are disabled until configured by the administrator. Non-essential advertising scripts are loaded only after you accept optional cookies. You may decline them and continue using the platform.
Your choices
You can clear your browser storage, decline optional advertising and external analytics cookies, sign out, or contact the platform administrator to request deletion of account information.
Updates
This policy may be updated as the platform adds analytics, advertising partners, broadcaster integrations or new account features.
